Grocery Manager

Mississippi Market, an award winning natural foods cooperative in Saint Paul, Minnesota is hiring a Grocery Manager for our Randolph store.

Our Randolph store, on the corner of Randolph and Fairview, has been in business for over 20 years. It has 3,595 square feet of retail space and does 2.7 million in sales annually.

The Grocery manager is responsible for ensuring excellent customer service and the efficient operations of the grocery department. She or he will hire, train, schedule, and evaluate a staff of 6.

Qualified individuals will have exemplary customer service skills, at least 2 years retail background, p urchasing experience, good communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple demands. Supervisory experience preferred. This is a great opportunity to use your knowledge and gain new expertise, while you put your creative energy to work in a field that can make a difference in our world.

This position reports to the Store Manager. Hours include day, evening and week end shifts. This is a full time position and salary is commensurate with experience. Benefits include 80% paid Health and Dental, long term disability insurance, 401(k), 20% discount, and vacation and sick leave.
